I'm in Penang!!!

Yes i am here. Started on Monday. Arrived on Sunday nite. This is the bridge i will be using daily to travel coz i am staying with my uncle on the mainland. People seem to panic and say 'so far'. KL folks forget they travel 40mins to an hour sometimes to get to work and pay tolls. My journey takes 20mins to the office without jam and a total of RM5.60 for the toll. Waiting for my bike to arrive and then the toll will cost me RM1.12 only. :)

So if you are in town and wanna drop by, please feel free to call me. Don't know the popular food places yet. Not so crazy about food anyway, but will figure that out for the sake of people who like to eat.

And if you wanna buy me gifts, here are some of the things i am needing/wanting/thinking about. I am thick skinned sometimes... and i know those who read this are my friends:

1. Cooling pad/gear for my laptop
2. Mouse for laptop also
3. Headphones & mic for laptop too
4. Digital camera :)
5. CD player for car OR a modulator
6. A blanket. (not too thin, not so thick, must be double size

that's all for now.... somehow as usual, mind goes blank when it comes to things for myself...

will write more soon. thanks for reading.

i'm gonna choke!

the car 'shutdown',
and it cost me a bomb!

clutch pad failed,
gearbox derailed.

money, money, money
its not funny.

1892 is the number,
which has caused me to hunger!

any help will be appreciated
any request can be granted!

a poem for the LoTs

John Chung is the one who works in a bank,
Most of the time staring and looking quite blank,
He is the oldest among the LoT ,
But a sense of humor, he has got.

Next comes Kenny, the KDU lecturer,
Providing his students with every answer.
He still owes us a dinner at his apartment,
Though inviting us over, no he hasn't.

Esther's the computer science graduate with a law degree
She was the one who just became the 'PoTty'.
Hailing from a place called Air Panas,
We hear the area has a lot of grass.

Joshua's the only one, who didn't study law
He admires this group with a lot of awe
He hangs around with a lot of students
What he really needs is a lot of patience!

Lydia's the one getting married this year,
The first one to be hitched among us here.
She loves to drink coffee and dislikes eating rice,
We all wonder how in the world she survives.

Did y'all know we have a qualified diver?
Introducing Rosey, our tallest girl LoTter.
Speaking her mind with a lot of expression
(is she the one some people call bacon?)

Wai Nyan's the newest chambee on the block
Finally he's decided to join the chamb'ring flock.
Hopefully he joins the attorney's chamber
Government service he one day may conquer.

Samuel's the tallest of the LoT ,
A Korean girlfriend he has sought.
Working for the government he hopes to be,
He's quite 'polite' apparently.

Here you have it , the people of the LoT
We scheme, we plan, we all came from a PoT.
Who knows what lies in our future
But we do thank God we are together.

The Poem Continues...

Decided to write another poem,
It is quite fun, and also quite wholesome!
Not sure what it will be about though,
hope it is not crap and some mumbo-jumbo.

Serviced my car two days ago,
Cost me a bomb, sigh what a blow!
Scratched it accidentally on the wall today,
Another bomb i think i will have to pay.

Back to Ipoh for three days last week,
(Making this poem rhyme is what i seek)
Most of the time, i think i was sleeping,
Home is the perfect place, 'specially if it's raining.

School-photos i found in my drawer,
I used to be so much thinner!
Compiled it all into an album,
It has become a valuable item!

Many memories during those school days,
Especially not forgetting all the school plays!
Many friends getting married already,
And some have already become a daddy!

Six weddings to attend in November & December,
Wallet will become thinner and thinner.
Catching up with old friends can be quite fun,
Hearing of stories and all they have done.

Ok will stop, time to go home
As i end, i bid u 'shalom'!

Updates!

Decided to do something new,
And update my blog for all of you.
Hope it’s funny, hope it’s lame,
Hope that all of you are game.

The last few months many things have happened,
My eyes and ears have really opened.
Heartaches and hearbtbreaks were part of it,
Joy and laughter, bit by bit.

Going to Japan was such and adventure,
Nine days in total, I think I got darker.
Many people at the conference there was,

Striving for the Gospel was our cause.

Student, staffworkers all gathered together,
So many memories, so much to capture.
Thank God someone lent me a digital camera,
I was able to capture all the drama.

Lots of stories to tell about Japan,
Writing a poem, I may not end.
So I will write more about it later,
Or perhaps it will be in another chapter.

This is taking longer than I thought
I want to stop, but oh I cannot.
I will rhyme as much as I can,
Coz this is part of the plan.

What else has happened in my life?
No, I have not got a wife!
Big decisions to make, future to decide,
I hope I am not going on a wild ride.

I have been working for four plus years,
Time flies so fast, it gives me the fears,
Suppose to be older and much wiser,
As life goes on chapter by chapter.

I have to stop here,
I’ll return don’t fear!
